Meals on Wheels Manager Kevin Laffond and Mayor Barbara Volk present a proclamation to the community celebrating the 21st annual “March for Meals.” The ceremony is meant to honor the volunteers, staff, and donors who serve the community by making Meals on Wheels for Henderson County possible. The COAHC gives special thanks to Mast General Store for helping to sponsor the event, ABC News 13 WLOS and WKHP for covering the event, and to the volunteers who shared their stories and experiences at the event. Through events like these, the program hopes to bring attention to the needs of our senior citizens and the drastic need for community resources funneled to our supporting organizations.
