COAHC is serving congregate meals at the First United Methodist Church, located at 204 6th Avenue W. Hendersonville, N.C. 28739.

Are you an active senior who would like to socialize and enjoy engaging activities along with a hot meal? Join us at the First United Methodist Church Monday through Friday! Fresh meals are prepared daily by Carolina Village and served to members usually between 11:00 and 11:30 am.

The program provides an opportunity for you to socialize, participate in various activities, connect to resources available in the community, and enjoy a delicious and nutritious meal in fellowship with others.

There is no mandatory cost for fully funded members, though we ask everyone who is able to provide a contribution toward the cost of their meal and the sustainability of the program.

Registration is required.

Special events and activities occur each month and vary throughout the year. A monthly activity calendar is available on request.

Membership

Due to high demand and limited funding, there may be a waiting list for this program. Contact us at (828) 692-4203 for more details.

Membership is limited to all Henderson County residents who are 60 years of age or older. Individual contributions are highly encouraged and appreciated.

Attendees are strongly encouraged to contribute a minimum of $5 towards the cost of their meal. If you don’t qualify for membership you must pay $10 (actual cost of meal) .
