Vaccine Information

  • COVID-19 Boosters: The Health Department has begun offering boosters of Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines at its clinics, following the CDC’s recent announcement, to certain eligible populations. The clinic at the Blue Ridge Mall is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 to 11:45 a.m. and 1 to 4 p.m. Individuals can make an appointment at or by calling 828-585-4700. Proof of previous vaccination is required in order to receive a booster.

  • For Homebound Individuals:
    • Henderson County Department of Public Health is able to provide Henderson County residents with COVID-19 vaccination services for people who are unable to leave their home. In order to provide this service at no charge to the receipient there are criteria one must meet to be eligible. For more details please leave a message for Kristina Henderson, RN at 828-694-6017.
