Meals on Wheels
Meals on Wheels can provide up to five meals per week for eligible homebound adults in Henderson County. Recipients must be aged 60 or older and have limited ability to access or prepare meals. Meals on Wheels clients receive important social interaction with caring, trained volunteers.
Community Dining
Our community dining program is located at the First United Methodist Church. Open from 10-12 Monday through Friday to registered clients. Participants have the opportunity to connect, socialize, and engage in various activities, all while enjoying a delicious and nutritious meal.
Liquid Nutrition
Older adults who struggle to get adequate nutrition due inability to chew or tolerate solid food may be eligible to receive up to two cases of liquid nutrition monthly.
A physician’s order is required.
Resource Coordination
Our knowledgeable staff provide information and referral services to senior adults and their caregivers. In addition, we also provide caregiver respite services for eligible clients.
Caregiver Services
Caring for a loved one with long-term physical or cognitive conditions is taxing. Our specialists can assist you in accessing resources and support for your journey, including respite services.
Heat Relief
A summer program intended to provide a more comfortable living environment and reduce heat related illnesses for eligible Henderson County residents.
