The holiday season is upon us. What better way to celebrate than with hot cider, cocoa, cookies, and a good dose of competitive bidding in a silent auction? And all for a good cause to boot! Drop by our office between 3PM - 6PM, Thursday, December 1st for the "Festival of Wreaths." We are gladly continuing this tradition once organized by Gena Duncan at The Lodge at Mills River. Our office is located at 105 King Creek Blvd, Hendersonville, NC 28792. This event is free and open to the public.
How does it work?
The wreaths will be hung around our office with accompanying bidding sheets. Once you've signed into the silent auction and received your bidding number, you can start bidding. This is a drop-in event and you don't have to be present to win. However, if the wreath you want is popular, you may get outbid! All proceeds will benefit the Council on Aging for Henderson County programs that help older adults continue to live independently.
Want to make a wreath for the auction?
Click here to send an email or call us at (828) 692-4203 for more details. Deadline for wreaths to be delivered to our office is Wednesday, November 30th.
Need some ideas and not sure where to start? Wreaths don't have to be Christmas themed, there are other holidays throughout the year! They also don't have to be round. There are other, beautiful door adornments. Want some inspiration? Check out our Pinterest board below 🙂
