Partnership for Independent Living

Partnership for Independent Living social workers assist elderly residents in maintaining or improving their ability to feel independent, self-sufficient and confident by ensuring that needed in-home services are provided and monitored. This process begins with the caseworker visiting the homebound senior, taking the time to listen to concerns, analyze life situations and help to determine individual needs. The caseworker then works with the senior and his/her family and caregiver to help decide what available services will best meet the identified needs. Caseworkers assist in accessing those needed services and keep in regular contact to ensure sufficient care.
